It started on Monday night when the Herald first reported that Daly Cherry-Evans had told Manly this would be his last year with the club. Within minutes Manly had a two-year offer. Within an hour or so of that, DCE said he was sticking with his plan to either look elsewhere or retire.

After a week in which there’s been a bit going on in league land (DCE, we’re looking at you), on-field action returns. It’s gonna be hard to top what we’ve just gone through but the Panthers and Rabbitohs will do their best to remind us that the game is also about – well, the game. Kick-off at 8pm, but before then we’ll keep sports fans up to speed with what’s been going on.
