Jodie’s journey into hairdressing began 18 years ago when she started as a Saturday girl while still in school.
However, her love for being on the road and connecting personally with clients led her to launch her mobile hairdressing business 10 years ago.
“I enjoy traveling to my clients and making their lives a little easier,” said Jodie. “Whether it’s a bride on her big day, an elderly client who finds it hard to get to a salon, or a child with autism who feels more comfortable at home, it’s all about making people feel good.”
Her expertise in bridal hair has made her a repeat finalist in the prestigious awards, earning second place twice and a “Highly Commended” recognition in the Bridal Hair category.
This year, she has been nominated thanks to glowing recommendations from previous awards judges, a recognition she describes as “a true honour.”

Despite her excitement about the nomination, Jodie won’t be able to attend the February awards night due to her packed work schedule. However, she remains hopeful that this year will be her year, saying, “Third time lucky!”
