Melbourne have pulled off one of the upsets of the AFL season, running over the top of the Brisbane Lions – the AFL’s reigning premier – on their home turf to record a 10-point win.
The Demons trailed by 14 points at three-quarter-time and were 15th on the ladder, but finished strongly to beat the second-placed Lions 14.14 (98) to 13.10 (88).
