Since 2022, Amazon has run a days-long Spring sale event, with the Deal Days in 2024 running from March 20 to March 25. The firm hasn’t yet said when its Spring Deal Days event will run this year, but it’s likely to be in March if previous years are anything to go by.

Discounts haven’t been announced yet, but if you have been mulling a big tech purchase then it could be worth waiting a few weeks for these sales to see if the thing you’re eyeing up gets a discount. Some of these deals can be restricted to Prime subscribers, which means you need to be signed up to Amazon Prime to access the offers, however this often only applies to Amazon’s mid-year Prime Day sales.

Most of the time, anyone can buy an item at its discounted price, though often the very best discounts are billed as ‘limited time’ deals, with no indication how long they will last for at that price. While these discounts are often good, you should always consider if they are the right deal for you. It’s only a good deal if you genuinely want the product, not just because it is on sale.

The Amazon Spring Deal Days sale is a seasonal sales event that usually happens in March. It started in 2022 and has run every year since, offering limited time deals on a huge range of products including technology.

Unlike Amazon Prime Day, the largest, multi-day sales event Amazon runs annually in July, you don’t need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to access Spring Deal Days deal offers.

Amazon hasn’t confirmed when its Spring Deal Days 2025 event will be, but for the past three years it has been in March. In 2024, the event last for five days from Wednesday, March 20 to Monday, March 25. In 2023, the sale was shorter, lasting from March 27 to March 29, while the first Spring Deal Days in 2023 started on March 20 and ended on March 25 2025.

These dates are a strong clue that the 2025 sale will be at the end of March.

For two of its three years, the Spring Deal Days sale has run for five days, except in 2023 when it was only three days. That means the 2025 offers are likely to run between three and five days.

But this doesn’t mean things on sale on day one will last. Often the discounts are for a limited time, with Amazon chopping and changing the deals and prices over the course of the event. Sometimes, deals only last for one day, and you have to keep checking to see what is discounted.

Amazon is very likely to heavily discount its own technology hardware, which includes the Amazon Fire TV Stick range, Amazon Kindle e-readers, Amazon Echo smart speaker devices, Amazon Echo Show smart screens and Amazon Fire Android tablets.
