We’re down to the final six minutes. The Eels almost extended their lead to six points, but a superb cover-defending tackle from Emma Verran has kept the deficit at two points. Eels lead 18-16 after 64 minutes

Take a bow Chloe Jackson. That’s two tries for the night. Her second wasn’t pretty but it still counts for four points. She burrowed on from dummy half to put paid to all the momentum Cronulla had enjoyed. Eels lead 18-16 after 56 minutes

Church injured after knee-on-knee contact
Parramatta and NSW fullback Abbi Church is down with a knee injury. In what are promising signs, she’s back on her feet and having strapping applied. She’s going to try and continue. Hopefully she can, the Eels – and the competition in general – need players of her level on the field.
