The Panthers girls basketball team entered the New Year strong with a pair of wins, including a home-opening win over Ouray. Balanced scoring and tight defense from M-CHS produced 54-34 and 64-7 victories over Rehoboth Christian and Ouray, respectively. M-CHS (4-3) will open Intermountain League play Friday and Saturday in The Jungle against Centauri and Alamosa.
The Panthers and Falcons meet at 5:30 p.m. Friday, with the boys game to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, M-CHS takes on the Mean Moose, with the girls playing at 1:30 p.m. and the boys at 3 p.m. All four IML contests will air on KRTZ 98.7 and 106.3 FM and stream online at visitfourcorners.com/krtz-radio-station/.
