Police are investigating after reports of a fight following the Brisbane Lions-Sydney Swans match at the Gabba on Saturday.
Brisbane Times has been sent footage of a brawl that appears to have broken out at the Brisbane stadium.
A brawl was filmed at the Lions v Swans match at the Gabba on Saturday.
According to other media, the fight broke out about 7.05pm after the game had finished and involved both Swans and Lions fans.
Queensland Police said the incident was being investigated.
“Police are aware of an alleged physical altercation that occurred at Woolloongabba overnight, and are conducting further enquires into the circumstances of the incident,” they said in a statement.
A fan attending the match, who did not want to be named, filmed the fight and said the altercation appeared to break out after a Swans fan threw a hat onto the field and started yelling at other punters, before two people were allegedly ejected.
Police are investigating the incident.
“From my perspective it started when a Swans supporter threw a hat onto the field and started mouthing off,” they said.
