Mad for a bit of reality TV? You won’t want to miss Seven’s new recap show, Reality Check, which drops tonight on 7Plus.
Hosted by emerging comedians Starr McGowan and Adrian Konarski, it sees the twosome take a deep dive into all the “jaw-dropping, binge-worthy and straight-up chaotic moments in the world of reality TV.”
The show, created by Seven Network’s in-house creative team, Red Engine, in collaboration with Kellogg’s, is a short-form series that takes a look at shows like Farmer Wants a Wife, MasterChef Australia and a host of others each week.
“Leveraging our leadership in the reality genre, this engaging, quick bite, 15-week series celebrates all-things ‘reality’ — the good, the bad and everything in between,” Seven’s National Digital Sales Director, Jordan King, said.
The first episode sees the pair discussing Stan’s Love Triangle, Million Dollar Secret on Netflix and Farmer Wants a Wife on Seven.
They then chat about Konarski’s top three reality TV moments of the week — and yes, that Real Housewives of Sydney drama gets a look in.
“Across all those shows I think we can agree, there’s a bit on,” says Konarski in the final moments of the episode.
