Samsung already offers a swathe of free content via its popular TV Plus platform – such as sports, entertainment, news and movies – but the library of things to watch is now getting bigger. From this week, Samsung telly owners will get access to the GREAT! Mystery service.
This channel features a swathe of popular shows and films, including Lost Letter Mysteries, Lucky Number, Cops Uncut and Brothers In Arms.
Each evening, there’s also “Crime at Nine” which offers a nightly Hollywood treat with films starring leading actors such as The Whistleblower with Rachel Weiz, Drive with Ryan Gosling, and Lucky Number Slevin with a huge cast of big names including Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis and Josh Hartnett
“The home of whodunnits, Great! Mystery is launching on Samsung on 12th March,” Narrative Entertainment – the team behind the platform – confirmed.
Narrative says this launch adds to its ongoing investment in expanding onto multiple platforms, with the aim to provide greater choice and accessibility of the Great! network for viewers.
Samsung now even beats Sky and Virgin Media with both of these providers not yet including GREAT! Mystery on their TV planners.
Speaking about the launch, Jacob Ahlin, Narrative Entertainment’s Digital Director, said: “We are thrilled to bring crime and mystery content to UK audiences on Samsung – for FREE- as the Great! network continues to expand.
“The new launch of Great! mystery aligns with our strategy to grow our channel brands, building on Narrative’s successes and even greater accessibility of our much-loved channels for our viewers.”
